I came from a long line of sewers (grandmas on both sides of the family as well as aunts) and with my own mom and sister both sewing as their profession. I always admired their creations, from custom curtains made for million dollar homes to one of a kind designer purses. I just thought sewing was not my thing and I didn't have time to learn.
After my son was born and we adjusted to having a third child in the home, I decided I wanted to branch out of my comfort zone and see if the "sewing gene" was within me. My husband bought me a sewing machine for Christmas and my mom and sister sat down with me to teach me the basics. After another teaching session with my mom, I was hooked. I picked it up pretty quickly and I knew I had that "sewing gene" too! So with the encouragement of many friends, I decided to open an etsy shop.
I love picking out fun and different fabrics and coordinating the fabrics to make that unexpected, yet perfect combination. I like to make clothes that are both for play and parties and that are sure to be the stand out in a room. I feel my kids are only little for just a few years so while they'll allow me, I'm going to take advantage and dress them as cute as they can be!
I use high quality, top designer fabrics and seek perfection in all my creations. Many of the fabrics I use are not found in local fabric stores, making the outfits you purchase for your child even more unique! I want my customers to be perfectly satisfied and continue to come back to see what's new.
